Accordion Workshops 2003 in San Antonio brought to you by

Kicking off the Accordion Workshops for 2003 was no other than the founder of the Tejano Conjunto Festival Juan Tejeda. His insightfulness and wealth of knowledge in the history of conjunto gave the students something to think about. El maestro Joel Guzman must be commended for putting together a comprehensive curriculum for these workshops. Steve Stacey and Ruben Coe added their expertise as instructors under the guidance of Joel Guzman. What a team! Dr Loco and Mike Guana were instrumental as assistants. On behalf of Reyes Accordions, I want to thank all who participated and assisted. A special thanks to Rudy Lopez, Fernando Villegas, Robert De Leon and Carol Rodriguez from the Conjunto Heritage Taller. And last, Pilar Chapa for all of your help in making the workshops a reality. Un abrazo to the Reyes Accordions Advisory Board. You guys made it happen.
