In 1948 at the age of fourteen Raul Moreno purchased his first accordion. In one year, Raul was recording with processional groups. It was not till the age of sixteen that he met for the first time Bocho Rodriquez and Daniel Garzes to form the conjunto group Los Tres Reyes. Los Tres Reyes was one of the first groups to tour throughout the United States and gave the public memorable songs which included Mi Guerrita Coca Cola, Mujer Pasiada, El Mosquito Americano, and many more. Today Raul Moreno continues to perform with Los Coyotes Del Norte and has his own reputable accordion repair service. Daniel Garzes and Ambrosio Rodriguez are no longer with us.
